The SRP PVC Patch is a reusable, surface-appliable silicone patch (approx. 10 × 7 cm) with integrated artificial peripheral vein. The patch contains a molded puncture protection that reduces the risk of puncture during training when the product is applied to a human arm or simulation manikin.

The product is easily and stably attached around the arm with the included Velcro strap, which allows for quick application, adjustment and removal during scenario training.

The SRP PVC Patch is supplied with a plastic syringe that allows filling and pressurization of the vein for realistic blood response. Training blood is not included in the product and is purchased separately as SRP Simulation Blood.

The SRP PVC Patch is intended for simulation and training of peripheral venous catheterization (PVC) in civilian and military prehospital and clinical training. The patch is applied to a human arm or a simulation manikin and secured with Velcro for secure positioning.

The artificial vein can be filled and pressurized with the included syringe to simulate realistic blood response during catheterization.

The integrated puncture protection is intended as an additional safety feature during training, but is not a substitute for proper technique, caution and supervision.

The patch is easily applied to a training manikin or to a patient actors arm with the adjustable Velcro straps.
